What we do ?

independent financial advisers,tw1,tw2,tw7,tw9,tw11,tw12,tw13,kt2,w4,sw13,sw14,sw15

We believe that initially it is important that we meet. After all, if we are to work successfully together you will need to feel comfortable that we are the type of organisation that can deliver what you are looking for.

This meeting is without cost or obligation. We will fully describe the process of financial planning and how it will benefit you.

There may be a State Pension at retirement and possibly other benefits available via National Insurance in times of financial need, but these benefits are not comprehensive, they are very basic.

They do not address a myriad of serious financial planning needs that crop up unannounced throughout life to put a strain on one's personal financial health.

That is why it is so important to undergo regular financial planning reviews to identify such needs before they become a problem. It is equally important to seek independent advice whenever a major change occurs in your life or you recognise that you need to address a specific financial objective.

If we identify any immediate or potential financial planning need together, there is no obligation on you to take matters any further, but you will at least have been made aware that the need exists and can schedule and prioritise action accordingly.

In short, we need to get to know you, your objectives and even your dreams. With good planning they will become a reality.

Why independent advice and what it means. The industry has two distribution channels for products and advice. One is called "Tied", the other "Independent". Typically most of the "advice" you have probably had to date has come from the Tied route. This would have been from a bank, building society or from a salesperson of an insurance company.
There are several disadvantages with this.

No single company can be best for all its clients, for all its products across its entire product range. The person advising you is only allowed to select from the product range offered by their company.

They are not allowed by law to give or offer any advice or opinion about any financial product that you may have already, unless their company issued it. It is in fact a criminal offence to do so. They only have to give what is called "best advice" from the limited range of plans that is offered by their company. In law, they act as the agent of the company they work for, not you!

The Independent route is the opposite of this. We research the whole of the market place to get the product that is best for you. There are no restrictions that limit us to just one company. We see it as an essential part of planning that we take into account your existing arrangements. We are legally bound (as well as morally) to thoroughly research the market to get the best value for you. In law, we act as your agent.

We look forward to hearing from you.
